New option to hide the availability calendar

April 30th, 2009

We’ve gotten requests from some of our vacation rental owners for the option to hide the availability calendar on their listing pages. They either don’t want a calendar or already have one with another site and don’t want to be bothered with having to keep multiple calendars up to date.

Well, now we’ve set it up so that the calendar will only be displayed on the property page when dates have been marked in the calendar.  If you don’t have any reservations or blackout dates market in the calendar for the next 12 months, your calendar will automatically be hidden.

Thanks to those of you who have given us feedback on this issue. And as usual, we always love hearing your feedback.

Accept rental reservation requests directly from your website

April 7th, 2009

We’ve created yet another widget for vacation rental owners who advertise their rentals on their personal websites.

‘Book reservation’ widget
Using our new ‘Book reservation’ widget, visitors to your website could easily book a reservation directly from your website. You will receive all reservation requests by email through your Ravant account.

Styling the widget
Like with our Contact form widget, we give you the option to choose the background and text colors to match your sites theme.

Demo
Here’s a live demo of a website using our ‘Book reservation’ widget.

Free
Like our other widgets for vacation rental websites, this one is free to use.
